Emery Dobyns is an eclectic producer/songwriter originally from New York City and now based in Nashville. From engineering Suzanne Vega’s album “Beauty & Crime” (for which he won the Grammy for Best Engineered Album) to producing Noah & The Whale and Travis, he has worked with a diverse array of artists including Antony and the Johnsons, Patti Smith and Sia. In his early days, he worked in hip-hop, engineering for P. Diddy at his studio, where he worked with Method Man, Mary J. Blige and Nelly. After shifting into the rock world, word of Dobyns spread across the pond to the UK, where he produced an album called Mt. Desolation with members of Keane, The Killers and Mumford & Sons. In 2018 he produced Parker Gispert's album 'Sunlight Tonight.' Artist cuts include Tor Miller (“Hold The Phone”) and Morgxn (“Roots”). On the sync side, he has had TV and Ad placements with Ford, CMT’s Nashville, Shades Of Blue, Roswell, Wynonna Earp and Grey’s Anatomy, among others.
