After studying at Belmont University and University of Miami, Abe Stoklasa began a career as a touring musician. A savvy, quick-witted instrumentalist, he played sax and pedal steel, among other things, for David Nail and Billy Currington before becoming a full time staff writer at Big Yellow Dog Music. Abe is a cross between James Taylor and Ray Charles. His unique songs blend soul and folk into a style that is completely original. Some of his recent cuts include "Fix" by Chris Lane and "Brand New" by Ben Rector. His songs have also been cut by Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, and Lady Antebellum to name a few.
